About Ygam

Gambling harms are rising — and becoming harder to detect. In fact, 1 in 4 young people aged 11–17 in the UK report gambling in the past year, often without even realising it.
Digital gaming, microtransactions, and in-app purchases blur the line between entertainment and risk. These behaviours disproportionately affect marginalised and faith-based communities, where stigma and a lack of tailored resources can delay support.
This workshop equips you not just with knowledge — but with the confidence, insight, and tools to hold culturally sensitive conversations, recognise signs of harm, and connect young people to meaningful support.
