About this event

This course will be delivered virtually through Teams.

Substance misuse is a complex issue, affecting not only the individuals involved but their friends, families and the people they come into contact with. Substance abuse can result in lowered educational outcomes, compromised health and risk to the public. The course offers you the chance to update your knowledge on different substances and introduces the What’s The Score Drug Screening tool. This tool is aimed to support professionals working with young people and adults they suspect may be misusing substances and also explains our referral process in CGL (Change Grow Live). Havering Public Health will introduce the new local Strategy.

  • Be aware of new and re-emerging drug trends amongst young people and adults
